ID Card

After your Enrollment Number is generated by NIOS, your Student Identity Card (ID Card) will be available for collection from the Admission Centre.

Expected Time: Approximately 10 days to 2 months after admission confirmation.


Study Material (Books)

After your admission is confirmed by NIOS, the printed study material will be dispatched by India Post to your registered residential address.

If you do not receive your books within the expected time, please contact the Admission Centre for assistance.


Tutor Marked Assignments (TMA)

Submission of TMA is mandatory for eligible learners and forms an important part of the NIOS examination process.

For April/May Public Examination

  • Complete your TMA.
  • Upload it online on the NIOS portal.
  • Submit it to the Admission Centre on or before 31 January.

For October/November Public Examination

  • Complete your TMA.
  • Upload it online on the NIOS portal.
  • Submit it to the Admission Centre on or before 31 July.

Note:

  • TMA questions can be downloaded from the official NIOS website.
  • Submit your TMA before the last date to avoid any inconvenience.

Personal Contact Programme (PCP) Classes

PCP Classes are conducted by the NIOS Study Centre to provide academic support and guidance.

Students should regularly check the NIOS website for PCP schedules and download their PCP Admit Card, if applicable.

Attendance in PCP classes is highly recommended.


Examination Fee Submission Schedule

Students are advised to submit the examination fee before the last date to avoid late fees.


Practical Examinations

Students should download their Practical Examination Admit Card from the NIOS website approximately 10 days before the examination.

Important Instructions

  • Prepare your Practical File according to the guidelines provided by your Study Centre.
  • Carry the Practical File on the day of the Practical Examination.
  • Practical files are submitted during the Practical Examination.

Theory Examinations

Mark sheet & Certificates

The Marksheet, Provisional Certificate, Migration Certificate (where applicable), and other relevant documents are generally available approximately one month after the declaration of the result.

Students may collect their documents from the Admission Centre or the Study Centre, as applicable.
Note : Student can download his Certificates from Digilocker which are applicable everywhere.”


Important Instructions

  • Keep your Enrollment Number and Reference Number safely for future use.
  • Regularly visit the NIOS website for the latest notifications and examination updates.
  • Download your Admit Card before every Practical and Theory Examination.
  • Submit your TMA and Examination Fee before the prescribed deadlines.
  • Inform the Admission Centre immediately if your mobile number or address changes.
  • Preserve your Marksheet and Certificates carefully after receiving them.
